My name is Romane, recruitment and business development advisor at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in the recruitment of finance professions. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team of financial experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll professions.
I am looking for a Controller for my client, a non-profit organization. This is a 9-month temporary position, 90% teleworking with 1 day of face-to-face work every two weeks in Drummondville.
Mission
Accounting
•Supervise daily accounting operations (accounts payable/receivable, payroll).
•Validate end-of-month documents (bank reconciliation, expenses, entries, etc.).
•Prepare files for tax audits (Quebec, Belgium, Switzerland).
• Ensure tax and regulatory compliance (taxes, duties,
declarations).
Financial analysis and reporting
• Prepare and validate financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual)
and gap analyses.
• Produce enlightening financial analyzes to support decision-making
decision.
• Support managers in interpreting data
financial and operational.
• Contribute to the budget process and financial forecasts.
Process optimization:
• Propose innovative solutions to improve the efficiency of
current processes.
• Collaborate on continuous improvement and documentation projects
key processes.
Other responsibilities:
• Supervise financial investments and monitor insurance
collective.
• Support the strategic initiatives of the Director of Finance and
Administration.
• Follow certain grant files while respecting deadlines.
Your profile
•University degree in accounting or finance
•CPA professional designation strongly desired
•Minimum of 8 years of professional experience, ideally in an SME
•Knowledge of the financial particularities of NPOs
•Strong knowledge of accounting standards
•Excellent financial analysis and problem solving skills
•Excellent command of French, both oral and written
