My name is Romane, recruitment and business development advisor at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in the recruitment of finance professions. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team of financial experts speak your language and operate in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll professions.

I am looking for a controller for my client, a company in the manufacturing sector. This is a permanent position in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.

Mission

Under the responsibility of the Director of Accounting, the controller will have the following main tasks:
• Manage the financial, administrative and regulatory operations of the Tremcar group
• Manage audits and ensure quality control of these files
• Manage legal documents
• Prepare, analyze and present financial statements
• Prepare and coordinate quarterly presentations
• Actively participate in financial modeling – Budget and projection
• Active cash management (13 weeks)
• Manage, supervise, train and support the team
•Contributor to the optimization of financial, administrative functions and FP&A tools

Your profile

• Professional title in accounting, (CPA);
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar position;
• Mastery of accounting principles and financial standards;
• Bilingualism, written and spoken, required (more than 90% of distributors and customers are English-speaking);
• Sharp sense of analysis and attention to detail;
• Experience in team management;
