Controller - Part-time replacement

Mission
I'm looking for a controller to replace my client in the Laval distribution sector for a period of 3 to 6 months on a part-time, 24-hour basis.
Reporting to the CFO, your tasks will be :
- Responsible for the complete accounting cycle, general ledger maintenance and chart of accounts.
- Responsible for accurate and timely closing of the financial month by reviewing journal entries, income statement and balance sheet.
- Account for specific month-end entries.
- Review income statement and perform variance analysis.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Review bank reconciliations in CAD and USD.
- Review monthly GST and PST remittances.
- Maintain capital expenditures and amortization schedules.
- Prepare various analyses requested by the CFO and senior management.
- Prepare reports and surveys for Statistics Canada and other government agencies.
- Responsible for preparing files for year-end and bank audits.
