Your function
I am currently recruiting an electromechanical technician for one of my clients, a paper manufacturing company located in Chambly. This is a permanent full-time position (40 hours per week).
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
Repair, adjust and maintain equipment.
Replacement of electrical/electronic components.
Make connections to PLCs to diagnose faults.
Calibrate equipment on virtual axis.
Participate in the preventive maintenance program and carry out inspection rounds.
Diagnose major breakdowns, establish priorities and undertake the necessary repairs.
Participate in problem-solving related to equipment efficiency and improvement.
Ensure daily cleanliness of premises and good practices.
Perform all other related tasks.

Your profile
- DEP in automated systems electromechanics or equivalent diploma.
- 3 to 5 years' experience in manufacturing.
- Ability to diagnose faults and carry out tasks rigorously.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety rules and procedures.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
- Salary; $35 to $40/hr, depending on experience (including weekend night premium or weekday evening premium). Full insurance, company RRSP.
- Permanent position 32h week (paid 40h) - one variable weekday, Friday and Saturday - night shift (23h- 11h).
