Mission
For a manufacturing company specialized in the design of metal logistics equipment located in Saint Hubert, we are looking for a Design Engineer ING Member OIQ to be immediately available. Position 40 hours/week – Mainly homme office position.
Reporting to the CEO, you are responsible for the following tasks:
- Be a driving force in product development.
- Study the customer's needs to design an execution and implementation plan on Autocad 2D.
- Communicate the brief to the design team so that they can execute the initial request.
- Review and validate the team's drawings
- Interact with production and assembly to support their execution
- Apply corrective actions in response to changes or developments in the project.

We're looking for someone with a background in civil engineering, more specifically in steel structures, to support the drafting team in the design of the company's manufacturing products.
Your profile
- 1 to 2 years' experience in design
- Good oral and written English, bilingual French
- ING designation from the Order of Engineers, mandatory
- Experience in cold-formed steel, mandatory
- Background in civil engineering before turning to manufacturing
- Knowledge of autocad 2D
- Salary: $100k - $115k depending on experience
- Mainly home office position, face-to-face training, full insurance, RRSP, paid vacation negotiable depending on experience.
