We are looking for a Purchasing Manager for my client in Drummondville. The company is a manufacturing company with international operations.

Job description:

Missions:

- Ensure efficient inventory management to guarantee continuous product availability.
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials.
- Direct purchasing activities and negotiate favorable agreements with suppliers.
- Organize and improve logistics flows and inventory management.
- Contribute to strategic discussions within the management committee.
- Manage a team of 5 to 10 people, including planning, procurement, purchasing, shipping and receiving.
- Optimize internal processes and systems, in particular SAP, to increase operational efficiency.

Your profile

Skills required:

- Significant experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- minimum 10 years in purchasing - purchasing management
- Bilingualism required - in order to communicate with internal partners and international suppliers.
