I'm looking for a accounting clerk for my client in downtown Montreal. This is a permanent, face-to-face contract in the heart of downtown.
Your responsibilities:
- Record financial transactions;
- Maintain records;
- Enter and verify invoices, payments and financial transactions in the
accounting system;
- Calculate, prepare and issue account-related documents, such as invoices
statements and other periodic reports, using both computerized and manual
manual systems;
- Monitor accounts receivable and payable, and make any necessary reminders;
- Respond to lawyers' requests for information, maintain good relations with them
with lawyers and resolve problems;
- Perform various clerical tasks related to accounting and/or administration.
Your profile
Skills and experience required:
- Diploma of Collegial Studies (D.E.C.) or equivalent in accounting,
finance or related field required;
- Basic accounting skills;
- At least 1 to 3 years' experience in accounting;
- Experience in a professional services organization is an asset;
- Knowledge of Maître software is also an asset;
- Fluency in French and English (spoken and written);
- Computer literate (Office Suite);
- Positive, results-oriented, solution-oriented and customer service-oriented attitude;
- Ability to work as part of a team, be autonomous, meticulous, rigorous and organized
organized;
- Ability to deliver a high volume of work in a short time.
