My name is Romane, recruitment and business development advisor at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in the recruitment of finance professions. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on the South Shore of Montreal. Our team of financial experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll professions.

I am looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Clerk for my client, a company in the manufacturing sector. This is a permanent position in Vaudreuil-Dorion.

Mission

1. Classify invoices, proof of delivery, proof of receipt and purchase orders;
2. Assemble purchase orders, proof of delivery and receipts as well as invoices for payment;
3. Save service invoices and other non-purchase order invoices for future processing;
4. Assemble checks and supporting documents to make disbursements;
5. Carry out efficient and rigorous processing of all supplier invoices and support to various critical departments such as purchasing and the warehouse;
6. Check each check and their supporting documents to verify the accuracy of the information (unit price and quantity);
7. Classify documents relating to the department on a daily basis;
8. Proceed with recording and paying invoices;
9. Update tracking files according to needs and internal control;
10. Answer calls from suppliers and internal departments regarding payments;
11. Contact the bank for bank transfers;
12. Make daily deposits at the bank and post daily mail;
13. Perform any other tasks required by his immediate superior.

Your profile

➢ Diploma of college studies (DEC) in accounting and/or a relevant related university certificate
at the post;
➢ Five years of experience, ideally in financial accounting;
➢ Good knowledge of MS Office suite tools (Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams).
➢ Bilingualism (oral and written English) is essential.
