Mission

Your role :
Manage a small team responsible for Canadian, U.S. and international taxation;
Manage corporate tax compliance in all jurisdictions, including income and commodity taxes;
Guide and support the team in the management of the quarterly and annual income tax provisioning process, including required accounting entries and continuity schedules, as well as in the management of corporate instalment payments;
Ensure responsibility for all foreign property declarations, such as T106, T1134, NR and T5 forms;
Work closely with operations on optimization, claims management and refund tracking related to e-commerce tax credits;
Conduct research and analysis, and document tax positions taken;
In collaboration with your team, participate in tax audits and provide the required documentation.

Your profile

Your profile :
Bachelor's degree in accounting with recognized professional accounting designation (or equivalent) such as CPA (CA, CGA, CMA);
10 years' experience in accounting, including at least 3 years in a similar role;
Experience in listed companies with international operations;
Excellent command of office automation tools such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
Good knowledge of IFRS tax accounting standards;
Good knowledge of software used to produce tax returns and forms, such as Corporate Taxprep and Taxprep Forms;
Good management of priorities while respecting deadlines;
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Master's degree in taxation or CPA Canada tax program (In-Depth Tax Program) completed (or equivalent).
Bilingual (French/English - to communicate with teams in the US and aboard)
