Mission

I am looking for a Payroll Manager for my client, a construction company located in the West Island of Montreal. This is a permanent position, with the possibility of working 4 days a week and 1 day of telecommuting.

Your tasks will include:

· Processing the complete payroll cycle;
· Ensuring each employee's weekly payroll is accurate and ready within the required deadlines;
· Reconciling government remittances and other accounts for the company;
· Ensuring compliance with various federal and provincial payroll regulations and staying updated on changes (publications, newsletters, webinars, websites, etc.);
· Serving as the reference person for managing exception cases or special payments;
· Ensuring compliance with and adherence to internal controls;
· Contributing to the preparation of various internal reports, maintaining the highest quality, reliability, and accuracy of data;
· Performing all other related tasks.

Your profile

Think this job is for you? It might be the case if you have or are:

· A degree in administration or a related field;
· A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in payroll management;
· Certification from the Canadian Payroll Association is an asset;
· Excellent knowledge of Canadian payroll standards (Quebec & other provinces);
· Attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness in task execution;
· Basic knowledge of the real estate and construction industry (CCQ) is an asset;
· Bilingual in French and English required.
