Hello, I'm Hugo, Recruitment and Business Development Consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment firm specializing in finance and accounting. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal area.
Our team of finance experts speaks your language and works in your environment. We cover the finance, accounting and payroll professions.

I'm looking for a Collections Manager for my client in downtown Montreal. This is a permanent contract, in hybrid mode (2-3 days of telecommuting).

Your responsibilities:

- Supervise a team of 10-15 people.
- Ensure daily KPIs are met or exceeded.
- Monitor total daily cash flow.
- Implement collection methods to increase cash flow.
- Assign a customer portfolio to each team member.
- Ensure problem receivables are handled appropriately and uncollected accounts are escalated appropriately.
- Manage strategies to achieve customer portfolio targets.
- Review and supervise all treasury application activities.
- Review payments received with team and resolve any misapplication of customer payments.

Your profile

- You have a college diploma (DEC) or a bachelor's degree in business administration.
- You have a minimum of five (5) years' experience in accounting and two (2) years' related experience.
- You are fluent in both spoken and written French and English. Bilingualism is required, as you will be collaborating with colleagues from other offices across Canada.
- You are comfortable working with various technological tools, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word), as well as an accounting system (Elite 3E, an asset).
- You have a working knowledge of acceptable credit control and collection (business-to-business) methods, procedures and practices in a professional services environment.
- You have excellent research and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to exercise judgment in resolving complex issues.
- Your interpersonal skills, autonomy, discretion and professionalism make you an excellent leader.
- You have excellent organizational skills, enabling you to manage priorities and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
- You are committed to providing high-quality customer service.
