Mission
Your responsibilities:
- Perform bank reconciliations;
- Record accounts payable and disbursements;
- Record cash receipts;
- Participate in month-end process (prepare worksheets, record journal entries, prepare sales tax remittance, record payroll entries, reconcile inter-company);
- Canadian and U.S. sales tax reporting;
- Assistance with fixed assets section, tracking disposals, calculating depreciation and disposing of batches of lost and obsolete equipment in the system;
- Participate in annual audit files;
- Assist with tax audit files.
Your profile
Your profile :
- Experience with the full accounting cycle and basic accounting analyses;
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office software, particularly Excel;
- Thoroughness and attention to detail;
- Good team spirit and collaboration;
- Good management of priorities and respect for deadlines and tight deadlines;
- Strong ability to work under pressure and adapt to change;
- Strong customer focus;
- Enthusiastic team player with proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality;
- Ability to communicate information clearly and logically;
- Fluency in French and English required to communicate with teams in other Canadian provinces.
- DEC technical diploma in administration, accounting/finance option, or other relevant training;
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in an accounting technician position;
