Today, I'm recruiting a Senior BI Developer with a minimum of 5 years' experience for one of my fine clients located east of Montreal. The position is temporary (2-month term) to start ASAP as a replacement for the departing employee. Possibility of temp-to-perm if the candidate is interested, mostly on site and with great benefits.
Mission
What You Will Do
• You will analyse business requirements, design data models, create reports, analysis and dashboards using Power BI and Vena.
• You will participate in building data pipelines and extract, transform, and load (ETL using Talend) processes to integrate data from various source into Snowflakes and then Power BI or Vena.
• You will develop and maintain documentation for data models, reports, and dashboards.
• You will also stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in data technologies and other business intelligence tools.
• You will work with the team to continuously improve best practices and enhance the BI processes.

Your profile
What You've Done and Have
• 5 years + experience as a Power BI developer or equivalent role.
• Experience with data modeling and visualization using Power BI and Vena (an asset).
• Experience with Snowflakes (an asset) and ETL tools such as Talend.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python (an asset) and other languages.
• Experience in designing reports, dashboards, working with KPIs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, or any other related field.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong work ethic that is able to work independently but also works well in team environment.
• Results driven with an ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly developed critical thinking skills, approachable, strong customer service focus.
