Mission

Your Role

I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a company specializing in the manufacturing industry, located in Montreal, for a Mechanical Designer - Day Shift, 40H/week.

Reporting to the Technical Director, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Design mechanical parts according to technical specifications and standards.
• Create technical drawings and 3D models using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on the development of new products or the improvement of existing products.
• Conduct feasibility analyses to ensure that designs are practical and efficient.
• Propose innovative solutions to improve performance and reduce production costs.
• Participate in design reviews and prototype validation testing.
• Oversee the development of design projects from the initial concept to production.
• Other related tasks.

Your profile

Your Professional Skills

• Excellent proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, Inventor)
• Ability to interpret and create detailed technical drawings
• Strong innovation and problem-solving skills
• Good knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
• Project management skills, a plus

Your Profile

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position
• Degree: Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Experience in the manufacturing industry, a significant asset
• Knowledge of English, a plus

Salary

$70K to $85K based on experience
