Mission

I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, an innovative aerospace company located in Montreal, for an Industrial Designer position.Permanent position, 40 hours per week – hybrid schedule

Under the supervision of the Engineering Manager and in collaboration with the design team, your responsibilities will include:

- Designing and developing components and interiors for aerospace projects, taking into account technical and aesthetic requirements.
- Creating models, prototypes, and technical drawings using advanced CAD tools.
- Participating in the continuous improvement of products and design processes.
- Collaborating with engineering, manufacturing teams, and external partners to ensure feasibility and compliance of designs.
- Keeping up with industry trends and innovating to meet market needs.

Your profile

- Degree in industrial design or mechanical engineering
- Specialization in aeronautics (an asset).
- 3 to 5 years' experience in complex product design, preferably in the aerospace industry.
- Proficiency in CATIA or SolidWorks software, and knowledge of aeronautical standards.
- Functional English and French, both spoken and written.

Your professional skills :

- Creativity and attention to detail.
- Solid technical skills in computer-aided design (CAD).

Salary :
75k - 90k depending on experience

Communication with international customers: As some of our customers are based abroad, you will be required to communicate regularly with them in English, both orally and in writing.
Working with English-speaking partners: You will be required to work with English-speaking suppliers and partners to monitor orders and manage contracts.
Drafting documents in English: You will be responsible for drafting reports, proposals and contracts in English, for our international customers.
