Mission

I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a company specializing in innovative manufacturing solutions, a machinist specializing in the fabrication and maintenance of molds for a permanent position located in the Greater Montreal area.

Under the direct supervision of the production manager, your main responsibilities will include:

- Machining and assembling mold components with precision, ensuring compliance with strict tolerances.
- Actively participating in mold testing and performing preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Programming and operating conventional and CNC machine tools with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and adjusting equipment accordingly.
- Collaborating closely with internal teams to tackle technical challenges and optimize production processes.

Your profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

- A diploma in Mold Fabrication and Machining Techniques (DEP).
- At least 5 years of relevant experience, with expertise in the repair and maintenance of molds for plastic injection.
- Excellent knowledge of machining equipment and workshop procedures.
- Strong skills in reading blueprints and working in 3D environments.
- A team-oriented mindset with excellent communication abilities.

Salary :

Starting at $75,000 annually, depending on experience.
