Your Role
I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a manufacturing company based in Lachine specializing in packaging production, for a Class 4 Stationary Machine Mechanic – Permanent Position – Rotating Shifts, 40 hours/week.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
-Operating and maintaining boiler systems and related equipment.
-Conducting routine inspections to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
-Performing corrective and preventive maintenance on mechanical and thermal systems.
-Diagnosing and resolving issues with production equipment and facilities.
-Adhering to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
-Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of maintenance procedures and processes.
-Collaborating with production teams to minimize downtime.
-Other maintenance-related tasks as required.

-Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Your Profile
-Valid Class 4 Stationary Machine Mechanic license (or higher).
-Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar role.
-Education in mechanical engineering or a related field.
-Familiarity with mechanical and thermal systems in a manufacturing environment.
Work Conditions
-Salary: $33.87/hour.
-Status: Permanent position, 40 hours/week.
-Shifts: Rotating (6:30 am-2:30 pm or 2:30 pm-10:30 pm).
