Your function

I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a manufacturing company in the regulated sector located in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, an Engineering Projects and Maintenance Manager - Permanent position 40 hours per week.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be in charge of the following tasks:

- Coordinate engineering and maintenance projects and associated teams
- Lead engineering, continuous improvement and automation projects from A to Z (design, production start-up, processes, installation, commissioning and documentation), within budget and on schedule.
- Plan, organize and monitor projects (meetings, schedules, reports) during all phases, including work and production stoppages.
- Manage the maintenance team according to monthly and annual objectives (annual interview, HR, training and integration, recruitment) in compliance with safety standards.
- Implement a preventive maintenance plan based on root cause analysis.
- Act as technical expert in problem solving (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, automation, building if necessary).
- Be responsible for follow-up and reporting to the Operations Manager, ensuring communication with the various plant stakeholders with a view to improving the capacity and efficiency of production processes.

Your profile

-Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position in a manufacturing environment
-Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant training
-OIQ member: CPI or Titre Ing
-Fluent in written and spoken French and English
-Experience with CAD software (3D 2D), SolidWorks an asset.
-Knowledge of ERP and CMMS software.
-Knowledge of manufacturing principles, lean manufacturing and project management tools
-Proficiency in Office suite

- Salary: $80k - $110k depending on experience
Weekday position, permanent and face-to-face, full insurance and company RRSP.
