Mission
I'm currently working with one of my clients in the distribution sector. Located in the east end of Montreal, this company is looking for a purchasing agent.
Place daily orders with suppliers for the Distribution Center and branches.
Report minimum/maximum or supplier problems to procurement managers.
Verify and correct pricing information.
Work closely with the Senior Buyer, Product Manager and Inventory Manager.
Maintain good relations with suppliers.
Process non-conformity reports and merchandise defects in a timely manner.
Ensure availability of high demand products.
Work to improve inventory turns to meet established targets.

DEC in procurement or administration
3 to 5 years' experience in purchasing
Bilingualism, both written and spoken
