Mission

We are looking for a Logistics Director for our customer in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement the company’s logistics strategy.
- Manage storage, transportation, and distribution operations.
- Supervise a logistics team of 20 employees, fostering their professional development and engagement.
- Lead continuous improvement projects, including the deployment of new racking systems and optimization of workflows.
- Oversee transportation operations, including negotiating rates with service providers and evaluating logistics performance.
- Ensure compliance and management of customs documentation for international shipments.
- Identify and implement innovative solutions to optimize logistics costs and enhance service quality.
- Collaborate with suppliers and partners to improve processes and ensure an efficient supply chain.

Your profile

Candidate Profile:

- Degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
- Significant experience (minimum 5 years) in a similar role, ideally within manufacturing or distribution.
- Strong management and leadership skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
- Proficiency in logistics management tools and software.
- Team-oriented, organized, and excellent communication skills.
