My name is Fiona, and I'm a recruitment and business development consultant at Fed Finance, a recruitment consultancy specializing in the recruitment of finance professionals. I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent on Montreal's South Shore. Our team of finance experts speaks your language and operates in your world. We cover accounting, finance and payroll.

I'm looking for an assistant controller for my client, a manufacturing company. This is a permanent position in Saint-Hyacinthe.

Mission

Essential tasks and responsibilities:
- Perform comparative analyses at the level of the various general ledger accounts.
- In charge of the short and long term budget process
- Ensure the integrity of fixed asset projects, inventories and databases.

- Variance analysis, actual budget, MOD and FGS material
- Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and forwarding to head office
- Monthly tax returns
- Review project costs
- Customer invoicing, customer file follow-up
- Bank reconciliation and bank deposits
- Prepare annual audit
- Perform internal controls
- Supervise payable employee
- Payroll verification

Your profile

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting science or equivalent experience, accounting designation an asset.
- 3 to 5 years experience.
- Excellent knowledge of the Office suite.
- Knowledge of MRP software is essential (Navision).
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Bilingual.
- Self-motivated.
