My name is Melissa, I am a recruitment consultant in finance, accounting and payroll. I work in permanent and temporary positions in the Greater Montreal Region.
I am looking for a chief accountant for our client located in Rivière des Prairies. The manager will be responsible for supervising an accounting clerk. This role is permanent, full time.
Responsibilities
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
• Participate in the preparation of the company's operating budgets
• Participate in the preparation of audit files;
• Participate in the development and documentation of effective and efficient internal control systems and procedures.
• Track the company's prepaid expenses;
• Monitor customer accounts, including collection and receipt;
• Complete various government reports;
• Carry out bank reconciliation and certain accounting accounts;
• Perform other tasks as the position evolves;
Your profile
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting option, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience in preparing financial statements for 2 to 3 years, preferably including experience in an audit firm (an asset);
• Excellent judgment and analysis skills;
• Ability to combine good teamwork skills with the ability to work independently;
• Excellent work organization and planning skills, as well as meeting deadlines.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry
