infrastructure.
We are currently looking for an IP network specialist for one of our clients located west of Montreal.
Mission
• Design, document and plan the deployment of the integration of the company's IP video products into IP networks for broadcast and ProAV infrastructures;
• Interact with the customer for the commissioning and troubleshooting of networks;
• Collaborate with the company's engineering and technical support departments to improve IP video product offerings based on real market requirements;
• Create and maintain complete documentation for deployed networks and new technologies;
• Develop and specify best practices.
Your profile
• College diploma in computer science, networking, or a related field, combined with 3 years of recent technical experience;
• Noted experience with Linux/Unix;
• In-depth knowledge of IP networking protocols (IGMPv2/v3, RIP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP);
• Experience in managing complex networks, involving security, performance and availability/reliability, including maintaining perfect activation and latency for live events;
• In-depth knowledge of Internet network technologies (DNS, Firewall, SSH, HTTP);
• Excellent oral and written communication skills;
• Ability to follow up;
• Noted competence in analysis and problem-solving.
