IT Support Technician - Level 1

Mission

We are looking for a level 1 computer support technician for one of our clients based in Montreal. This is a permanent, on-site position, salary up to $55,000.

Your missions will be :
- Provide first-level technical support to users (hardware and software) in French and English
- Install, configure and maintain workstations, printers and other peripherals
- Diagnose and resolve computer problems (hardware, network, software)
- Follow up support requests and document interventions in a management system
- Participate in the maintenance and updating of IT infrastructures
- Apply company IT security policies

Your profile

- DEP in computer support
- Relevant technical support experience (1 to 2 years ideal)
- Knowledge of Windows systems (knowledge of Linux an asset)
- Basic understanding of networks and protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS)
- Excellent command of spoken and written French and English (English-speaking users across the country)
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems effectively.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Team spirit, autonomy and organizational skills.
