Level 1 support technician

I'm Clémence, recruitment and business development consultant at FED IT, a recruitment agency specializing in IT professions.
I work on two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent.
All our consultants are IT experts who speak your language and work in your environment. We cover IT, development, business intelligence and infrastructure.
We are looking for a Level 1 Support Technician to join a company in the Art/Culture sector, located in Montreal. This is a temporary, open-ended position in hybrid mode.
Mission
Responsibilities:
Respond to Level 1 support requests (by telephone, e-mail or in person)
Install, configure and troubleshoot Windows workstations (Windows 10/11)
Assist with user account management (Active Directory, messaging, etc.)
Perform updates and keep software up to date
Escalate more complex problems to level 2 team if necessary
Document interventions and maintain knowledge base
Your profile
Profile required:
Computer training (DEP, DEC or equivalent)
Good knowledge of Windows environment and Microsoft Office suite
Ability to diagnose common hardware and software problems
Sense of customer service, thoroughness and good communication skills
Bilingualism (French/English) an asset

- Communication with international customers: As some of our customers are based abroad, you will be required to communicate with them regularly in English, both orally and in writing.
- Working with English-speaking partners: You will be required to work with English-speaking suppliers and partners to monitor orders and manage contracts.
- Drafting documents in English: You will be responsible for drafting reports, proposals and contracts in English, for our international customers.
