Mission

Your Responsibilities

I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a manufacturing company based in Boucherville, for a Mechanical Designer – Permanent position, 39.5 hours/week, paid as 40 hours.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your main responsibilities will be:

Analyze client requirements and develop tailored solutions.
Design industrial equipment, including complex mechanisms, conveyors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Create detailed plans and 3D models using design software.
Select appropriate materials and components for projects.
Draft technical documentation and user manuals.
Collaborate closely with the production team for prototyping and manufacturing.
Implement and track necessary project adjustments.
Perform other related tasks as required.

Your Skills

-Ability to work autonomously while being a strong team collaborator.
-Technical expertise in mechanical design.
-Proactive and methodical approach to project management.

Your Profile

-Minimum 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design, ideally in industrial environments.
-Proficiency with 3D mechanical design software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor).
-Bilingual: Fluent in French with professional-level English.
-Diploma of College Studies (DEC) or Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
-Strong knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and complex mechanical systems.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary: $80k - $90k gross annual, based on experience.
Schedule: 39.5 hours/week, paid as 40 hours, with flexible days.
