Mission
I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a company specializing in food production and packaging located in Laval, Quebec, for the position of Maintenance Manager – 40 hours per week.
Reporting to the Operations Director, your responsibilities will include:
• Planning, organizing, and supervising preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Optimizing the performance of production and packaging equipment.
• Analyzing maintenance needs and recommending improvements.
• Managing a team of technicians and supporting their professional development.
• Overseeing the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Managing the maintenance department’s budget and negotiating with suppliers.
• Actively participating in continuous improvement projects.
• Updating technical documentation and maintenance reports.

Your Background
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in the food or manufacturing industry. An experience in a regulated industry is mandatory
• Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in team management and proficiency in maintenance management tools (CMMS).
• Good understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset.
