Mission
Your Role
I am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a company specializing in the manufacturing industry, located on the South Shore, for an Industrial Engineer - Day Shift, 40 hours/week.
Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
• Analyze and improve the reliability of equipment and production processes.
• Implement continuous improvement projects to optimize productivity and quality.
• Diagnose recurring breakdowns and propose solutions to eliminate root causes.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to develop preventive maintenance plans.
• Train and raise awareness among teams on best practices in reliability and continuous improvement.
• Monitor performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the actions taken.
• Stay updated on technological advancements to integrate new maintenance and continuous improvement technologies.
• Other related tasks.
Your profile
Your Professional Skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Teamwork orientation
• In-depth knowledge of reliability and continuous improvement methods (TPM, Lean, Six Sigma)
• Proficiency in computer-assisted maintenance management systems (CMMS)

Your Profile
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Bachelor’s in mechanical or industrial engineering, or any relevant field
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, a significant asset
• Knowledge of English, an asset
The use of English is required for this position for the following reasons:
Communication with international customers: As some of our customers are based abroad, you will be required to communicate regularly with them in English, both orally and in writing.
Working with English-speaking partners: You will be required to work with English-speaking suppliers and partners to monitor orders and manage contracts.
Drafting documents in English: You will be responsible for drafting reports, proposals and contracts in English, for our international customers.
Salary
$80K to $110K depending on experience
