Mission
I'm currently working with one of my clients who specializes in distribution. Located in the west end of Montreal, near the Cote-Vertu metro station, this company is looking for a Purchaser.
As a Purchaser, you'll be the key link in the distribution of thousands of items to all my client's business units in Canada. You'll make sure every product gets to the right place, at the right time.
Your tasks:
🔄 Adjust distributions: Adapt shipments for warehouses and the distribution center.
📝 Manage purchase orders: Create and modify orders according to supplier capacities.
📊 Optimize distribution: send the right quantities according to seasons and sales.
✅ Check stocks: Confirm availability for smooth distribution.
⏱ Manage unforeseen events: Track delays and resolve problems with suppliers.
📈 Analyze and track: Work with shipping and receiving teams to improve processes.

Your profile
University degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics or similar;
One (1) to two (2) years experience in a similar position;
Organizational skills and attention to detail;
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple requests under tight deadlines; and
Knowledge of SAP (an asset).
