Mission

The Procurement Manager coordinates operations to ensure optimal stock levels based on capacity. He/she also manages inventory and receipts across various distribution centers, in addition to developing tools to support the company's various needs. He/she ensures the planning of receipt schedules.

Assigned Responsibilities:
Manage and lead a diverse team of buyers to achieve strategic objectives and foster their professional development;
Define priorities for the purchasing team and provide leadership in implementing initiatives and finding solutions;
Present a monthly stock governance review to the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) committee;
Influence the committee to ensure the implementation of strategies;
Play a key role in improving our business processes and purchasing systems (SAP-MM);
Actively participate in the implementation of a supplier collaboration platform (such as SAP Business Network) as part of the digital integration with our suppliers;
Participate in strategic purchasing and inventory management decisions to ensure alignment with growth and marketing strategies;
Ensure replenishment management by considering receiving capacities, storage, and growth of each warehouse;
Monitor stock performance against established budgets and propose actions to improve performance;
Actively participate in maintaining good relationships with manufacturers;
Implement tools and indicators that allow the purchasing and merchandising teams to track the performance of their strategies.

Your profile

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration or Operations Management;
Over 5 years of experience in inventory management in a similar environment (distribution, retail, etc.);
Good knowledge of procurement management software (experience with SAP-MM and a supplier collaboration platform such as SAP Business Network);
Experience in team management;
Analytical skills;
Strong prioritization abilities;
Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal, in French and English.
