Mission

As part of its growth, our client – a well-established family-owned business – is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee logistics operations, including the reception, preparation, and shipment of goods.
Reporting directly to senior management, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth warehouse operations, enforcing safety standards, and optimizing space and workflows.

Main Responsibilities :

-Operational Management:
-Supervise and lead the warehouse team and delivery drivers.
-Onboard and train new team members.
-Ensure strict compliance with internal procedures.
-Monitor key performance indicators (order preparation times, order accuracy, error rates, etc.).

Order Management:
-Oversee the selection, preparation, and packing of customer orders.
-Supervise internal transport of goods, manually or using mechanical equipment.
-Verify product quality, quantity, and compliance with orders.
-Ensure packaging standards and load security procedures are respected.

Warehouse Organization:
-Optimize the arrangement of goods and maximize use of storage space.
-Monitor stock labeling and rotation.
-Update inventory records in the warehouse management system.
-Inbound Logistics Support:
-Verify the accuracy and condition of received goods (quantities, documents, damages).
-Organize safe and efficient storage of incoming shipments.
-Assist with unloading operations when necessary.

Driver and Customer Pickup Support:
-Assist with the planning and loading of delivery trucks.
-Ensure professional customer service and quick order pickup processes.
-Provide support in case of unexpected issues (delays, delivery problems, etc.).
-Continuous Improvement:
-Proactively suggest improvements to reception, shipping, and storage processes.
-Actively contribute to implementing safe and efficient operating practices.

Your profile

Minimum of 5 years' experience in warehouse or logistics management.

Strong organizational, leadership, and operational monitoring skills.

Good physical condition (ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods).

Proficient with warehouse management systems and data entry (ERP, Excel).

Fluency in spoken and written French.

Forklift certification (an asset).

Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Conditions

Schedule: 40 to 45 hours per week (Monday to Friday).

Salary: between $50,000 and $65,000 CAD annually.
