Transport Supervisor

I am currently assisting one of my clients, specialized in transportation, warehousing, and handling. Located in East Montreal, this company is looking for a Transport Supervisor.

Mission

Ensure exceptional and respectful customer service throughout the transport process.
Be the first point of contact for clients: manage delays, solve issues, and respond to requests within 30 minutes.
Maintain strong relationships with clients through regular follow-ups.
Document and resolve errors related to receiving, shipping, or documentation.

Process and validate customer orders for internal teams.
Verify the accuracy of data entered into the system and correct errors.
Inform clients about customs and transportation regulations.
Coordinate priorities within the team and supervise members (training, support, responding to questions).
Write and edit administrative documents (reports, emails, memos).
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.

Your profile

Languages: bilingual (French/English), spoken and written, to communicate with English-speaking clients.
Education: College or university diploma in administration or related field.

3 to 5 years of experience in maritime and road transport in Canada.
At least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Solid experience with logistics and transportation documentation.

Excellent customer service skills and problem-solving abilities.
Team spirit, clear and professional communication.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Autonomy, strong ethics, empathy, and organizational rigor.
Ability to quickly adapt to new challenges and bounce back from setbacks.
